2021 July

Launch of Select Switchboards

In July 2021, Select Switchboards was founded in Darwin, NT, Australia, to address a significant gap in the local switchboard manufacturing industry. Our founder identified an opportunity for delivering high-quality bespoke switchboards tailored to fulfilling the unique demands of each project.

As our switchboard business flourished, a new requirement surfaced. We realized the pressing need for a dedicated field service and support crew. This wasn't just about our growth; it was about ensuring our products were backed by unparalleled service.

2021 November

Becoming Select Industrial

As demand for our services surged, Select Industrial was created into an entity of its own. This allowed us to better target industrial projects and maintenance work, instead of only being service agents for Select Switchboards. We began to proactively seek out maintenance and project work independently.

Before long, we were attracting high-profile clients such as Power Water Corporation. This influx of significant partnerships within the industry marked a pivotal moment in our journey.

2022 November

Additional Capabilities

As the Select Industrial team expanded, so did our capabilities. We introduced new industrial services, including automation and systems integrations, further enhancing our already highly skilled portfolio.

This strengthened our existing relationships with partners and enhanced our position when tendering for new projects by allowing us to offer a one-stop solution for turnkey projects.

2023 July

First Major Government Tender

A remarkable achievement after just 2 years of operation, Select Industrial secured our first major open government tender with Northern Territory's largest utility provider.
